The Dyslexia Microschool is our 6-week pilot program for families who want focused, small-group support and clear data on their child's progress. Designed for early and upper elementary readers, this experience feels like a mini-school devoted entirely to structured reading instruction, confidence-building, and practical parent guidance.
We intentionally keep each cohort small-typically 5-8 students-so every child can participate, ask questions, and receive meaningful feedback. A licensed Intervention Specialist leads each group using structured literacy and dyslexia-informed methods. Lessons weave together phonemic awareness, phonics, high-frequency word work, fluency practice, and comprehension, so students are not just sounding out words, but also understanding what they read.
Before your child begins, we conduct a pre-assessment to establish a clear baseline. You receive a summary in parent-friendly language, outlining strengths, challenge areas, and priority goals for the 6 weeks. At the end, we repeat key measures and provide a side-by-side comparison, so you can actually see where growth occurred-not just hope that it did.
Key features include: - Consistent live, online sessions with a small, stable cohort. - Global time zone options so children can attend without disrupting school or family routines. - Structured, predictable lesson formats that reduce anxiety and support attention. - Practical follow-up suggestions after each week to help you reinforce skills at home.
This pilot is ideal if you want to "test drive" a focused dyslexia program without a long-term contract. By the end of six weeks, you will know much more about how your child learns, which strategies work best, and what to request from schools or future tutors. Most importantly, your child will walk away feeling more capable, understood, and supported as a reader.
Share a few details about your learner and your goals, and our licensed intervention specialist will respond with clear next steps, program options, and a path toward confident, joyful learning at home.
