Learning Consults

Learning Consults
Learning Consults are ideal when you sense that your child is working hard but not moving forward as expected, and you need a clear, expert perspective on what to do next. Rather than guessing which program, app, or routine might help, you gain a structured plan built around real data and your child's daily reality.

Before our consult, we gather information about your learner's history, current performance, and any evaluations or IEPs. During the session, we walk through this together in plain language, identifying patterns in reading, writing, math, attention, and executive functioning. You are encouraged to ask every question you have hesitated to ask at school meetings.

From there, we design a practical study plan that fits your child's strengths, challenges, and schedule. This might include recommended time blocks, visual organizers, homework checklists, and specific practice activities. When learning differences are present or suspected, we suggest accommodations and strategies that can be used at home and discussed with the school team.

You also receive guidance on which of our supports-such as targeted assessments, virtual tutoring, or parent coaching-could reinforce the plan, should you choose to continue with us. Everything is captured in a written summary so you do not have to rely on memory.

A Learning Consult gives you what most families are missing: a clear, step-by-step roadmap and a knowledgeable partner who understands both instruction and special education processes. Instead of trying random tools, you move forward with purpose, knowing exactly how to support your learner in the weeks ahead.
